Our story began in 2006 when Chris Doane and James Roberts founded Pure FX with a simple but powerful vision: to provide honest, transparent foreign exchange services built on trust, expertise, and genuine relationships.
In 2007, I joined the business and had the privilege of learning directly from Chris and James. Everything they knew, they taught me. Together, we worked as a team, building a business that put people first and treated every client with the care and attention they deserved.
Over the years, we helped thousands of individuals and businesses move money across the globe, navigating changing markets and industry challenges while staying true to the values on which the company was founded.
As the business evolved, so did the opportunities and pressures that come with growth. Many firms chose a path where clients became numbers and relationships became secondary to profits. That was never the vision we shared. When the time came for me to continue the journey, I knew there was only one way forward—to preserve the principles that had made the business successful from the beginning.
Today, Pure Currencies is built on the same foundations established 18 years ago: integrity, trust, exceptional service, and putting people first. I have built a strong team that shares those values and understands that behind every transaction is a person, a family, a business, or a dream.

My father, Clive Doane, believed in us from day one. When Pure FX was just an idea, he provided the support and start-up funding that helped turn our vision into reality. More importantly, he believed in us when all we had was ambition, determination, and a dream. Without his faith and encouragement, this journey may never have begun.
My mum, Jean Doane, may never have fully understood the endless conversations around the dining table about currencies, exchange rates, and market movements, but she never stopped supporting us. Through every challenge, every opportunity, and every milestone, she was always there with encouragement, patience, and unwavering belief. Her support gave us the confidence to keep moving forward.
I would also like to thank my friends, both near and far, who have continued to support me throughout this journey. Although I have moved away from where it all began, the messages, calls, encouragement, and belief in what we are building have never stopped. Your support means more than words can express.
